SOREG®-glide has received the Innovation Award for Architecture + Building for its X series, the first large-format, frameless sliding window system with unique automatic threshold for complete ease of access.
For the thirteenth time, the architectural journals AIT and xia recognised examples of intelligent architecture at BAU 2017 in collaboration with Messe München with the Innovation Award for Architecture + Building. The award honours developers and manufacturers of innovative products for industrial and commercial projects, residential projects and interior design. The focus here is always on the importance of architectural quality in the construction industry.
A total of 82 products were submitted from 59 cross-industry companies but only 3 received the coveted award.
The judging panel highlighted the product benefits of the X series:
“In addition to its high-quality construction, the frameless sliding door system features an attractive look thanks to the level threshold, which also ensures barrier-free passage. The high-quality technical implementation in particular represents a significant innovation.”
